Depression and Anxiety

ARE YOU OR YOUR LOVED ONES SUFFERING FROM ANXIETY OR DEPRESSION?

Then read on.

WHY ARE PEOPLE SO DEFICIENT IN SEROTONIN AND WHY IS SEROTONIN IMPORTANT?

These days, there are so many clients coming to my clinic complaining of anxiety and depression. I would guess that by now, every third client I am seeing suffers from it to some degree. Sometimes coupled with panic attacks and/ or sleep issues.

These clients usually assume that there must be something wrong with their psyche, since they experience bouts of depression, feelings of hopelessness or anxiety periods. So they go to psychologists, psychotherapists and other therapists, hoping to alleviate their emotional state. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not.

If these conventional therapies don´t work for them, they often lose hope and suspect they must be doing something wrong. That it is their fault somehow. And that things might never get better. So they settle for the idea of eating antidepressants for the rest of their life. This is not a pretty picture.

However, things don´t have to be this way.

When such depressive clients come to me and I scan their body energetically, I often find loads of toxic particles and heavy metals stored in their vital organs and endocrines. And particularly in the brain. Then I tell them, much to their surprise: “There is nothing wrong with you. You are not depressed or anxious. The problem is simply that your body is full of toxins preventing it from working properly and creating a positive stable mood. This is what is manifesting in your psyche as distressing emotional symptoms. I can help you clear old stagnant memories that are burdening your emotional state, and cleanse your energy field. But in order to truly heal, you will also need to find a physical detox procedure that works for you in order to fully recover.”

Naturally, my clients get surprised and curious. Not quite believing what they hear. Nobody ever told them that their mood might be affected by physical toxins in their body. Could that be true?

And this is at this point that things get really interesting. Because when we start combining bodywork, cleansing emotional energy work, and various detox protocols, people usually start feeling better. It might take anything from a couple of weeks to several months in order to get results. Depending on the toxic load in the body. But in the end, most of them can clearly feel the changes. The mood lifts. And often antidepressants and other mood medications can either be reduced or discontinued. Now, this is a much prettier picture!

I have often wondered what could be causing this on the physical level and why detoxing is such an integral part in getting better from anxiety or depression. So here is a scientific explanation.

Ever heard of serotonin? It is a naturally occurring neurotransmitter that carries signals between nerve cells throughout your body. It plays an important role in various brain and body functions, including mood stabilization, cognition, learning, memory, and sleep.

Problems associated with low serotonin levels are:

  • Depression and other mood problems.
  • Anxiety.
  • Sleep problems.
  • Digestive problems.
  • Suicidal behavior.
  • Obsessive-compulsive disorder.
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder.
  • Panic disorders.

In other words, in order to feel good, your serotonin levels must not be too low. Under normal conditions, your body is easily able to maintain this level. That is unless you accumulate a toxic load of glyphosate. This popular weed-killing product is used worldwide in private gardens and commercial agriculture and is contained in much of our food.

In this 13 min. video dr. Eric Berg explains scientifically why serotonin levels get lowered due to glyphosate in your body and how to detox from it using 8 simple strategies (eating organically, being in the sunshine, intermittent fasting, etc.)
